Stony Brook: Cinderella Seawolves Will Win College Baseball World Series

The sports world has been deprived of Cinderella stories as of late, so the Stony Brook Seawolves decided they ought to put one together. The team that was playing Division III college baseball back in 1991 knocked off national powerhouse LSU to reach the College World Series and will capture their program's first ever national title.

The New York-based team has defeated big names like Miami and now LSU in rather spectacular fashion recently and based on that momentum, Stony Brook will shock the college baseball world.

The likes of Florida and Florida State are also in the field, and all of SBU's competitors will be considered favorites when they take on the tournament's obvious underdog.

That being said, no team will have more national support and more momentum than the Seawolves as the world series commences. The team is full of young talent, with seven players selected in the 2012 MLB Draft, and are primed to be the media darling in Omaha.
