NCAA Baseball World Series 2011 Bracket and Television Schedule

The 2011 College Baseball World Series is down to the final eight teams after some dramatic endings in the Super Regionals.

The top teams dominated early in the tournament as only two teams ranked outside the top eight qualified for the College World Series in Omaha.

The Virginia Cavaliers are the No. 1 overall seed but struggled to close out UC Irvine after dominating for much of the tournament.  They enter Omaha as the favorite, but will be up against elite competition facing off against teams like Florida, Texas and North Carolina.

The games kick off in Omaha on June 18th at 2:00 P.M. when North Carolina takes on Vanderbilt on ESPN.

There is an interesting backdrop to the UNC-Vandy matchup, as North Carolina's catcher, Jacob Stallings, is the son of Vanderbilt's head basketball coach, Kevin Stallings.  According to Bleacher Report - College Baseball
