Memphis’ Brandon Montgomery Scores the Oddest ‘Inside-the-Park Home Run’

During the Memphis Tigers' 4-1 win over USF to advance to the semifinals of the AAC Tournament on Friday, freshman Brandon Montgomery hit what looked like a fielder's choice. The rundown allowed Montgomery to advance to second base, but what happened next will leave you puzzled.

It looked like every USF player believed time had been called, so they hit the snooze button. Unfortunately for them, Montgomery kept running. He got to third with ease and then eventually took off for home, beating out the catcher at the plate.

The Tigers' luck ran out, as they fell 17-3 to Houston on Saturday.
