Derrick Salberg Video: Watch Insane Game-Winning Catch over Fence

Wow. Just wow.
There are very few times in my life where I honestly am amazed by a sports video anymore, but this play by Lower Columbia College left fielder Derrick Salberg blew my mind.
This play is like a video game mixed with a movie and dreamt up by an 11-year-old; it’s just too impressive to fathom.
Let me set the scene so you understand the excitement of the situation. This was the first round of the NWAACC Baseball Championships, taking place in Washington. Lower Columbia College was leading Everett Community College 4-2 in the bottom of the ninth inning.
With Everett’s DH Keone Kela at the plate, a man on base and two outs, tensions were high for both teams. As the pitch came, Kela belted what was a sure home run.
