College World Series Finals 2012: Keys to South Carolina’s 3rd Straight Title

The South Carolina baseball team has a chance to become the second team ever to win three consecutive national championships, but it will face a tough test against Arizona.

The Gamecocks are 49-18 overall this season and are 4-1 at the College World Series.

They are coming off two straight narrow victories over Arkansas that put them in the finals against the Wildcats. 

Here are the keys in each area of the game to a South Carolina victory.

 

Pitching 

The South Carolina pitchers really need to just keep doing what they have been doing all season long.

The Gamecocks are first in the nation in team WHIP, according to NCAA.com, but they will be put to the test against the Wildcats.
