College World Series 2012: Arizona’s Offense Will Carry Team to CWS Win

After defeating Florida State in the double-elimination round, Arizona is headed to the finals of the College World Series. With this team's offensive ability, they should easily take home the championship.

Coming into the tournament, few would have expected the Wildcats to still be alive at this point in the season. There were teams with more supposed talent and a lot more experience, but Arizona has stuck together and simply continued to win.

The team swept through its regional by easily defeating Missouri once and Louisville twice. In the super regional, St. John's put up a fight but did not have enough fire power to beat Arizona. When they were placed in the College World Series with No. 2 UCLA and No. 3 Florida State, most believed the run was over.

No one told Arizona, however, and the team has continued to win. A tough 4-3 battle with Florida State was followed by a shutout of UCLA and finally a throttling of the Seminoles to put the Wildcats in the finals.

It does not matter which SEC team they face in the final round, this team is hitting too well to be stopped.
