College Baseball Super Regionals 2016: Results, Highlights, Bracket for Saturday

Day 2 of the College World Series Super Regionals held the prospect of seeing teams move on to the College World Series in Omaha, Nebraska.

UC Santa Barbara 4, Louisville 2

A three-inning spurt fueled UC Santa Barbara past host Louisville in the first game of college baseball's busy schedule.

Four different Gauchos drove in all four of Santa Barbara's runs from the third to fifth innings, which proved to be enough for Shane Bieber and Kyle Nelson on the hill.

Bieber went seven innings and allowed two runs while striking out seven before Nelson slammed the door shut with two no-hit innings.
