College Baseball Regional 2016: Results, Highlights and Bracket from Sunday

The regional round of the College World Series is drawing to a close, as Sunday's play will whittle down the remaining field of schools even further.

With 33 games on the slate Saturday due to inclement weather and the double-elimination format, some of the 64 teams competing Sunday will have to play more than once.

Coastal Carolina 4, NC State 0

Carrying over a 1-0 lead from Saturday after rain washed out play, Coastal Carolina scored two runs in the eighth and one more in the ninth to shut out NC State and make its way to the Raleigh regional final.

Zach Remillard drove in a pair of runs, while Mike Morrison came in relief and pitched 3.2 innings of no-hit baseball to shut down NC State.
