Baton Rouge NCAA Baseball Regional Breakdown

LSU hosts the Baton Rouge Regional as the No. 3 national seed.  The home standing Tigers open the regional against Southern at 1 pm on Friday, followed by Minnesota and Baylor at 6 pm.

 

The Tigers earned the No. 1 seed in the Baton Rouge Regional after winning the SEC regular-season and tournament championships. 

 

Southern earned the automatic bid after claiming the SWAC tournament title. 

 

Minnesota earned at at-large spot out of the Big 10, while Baylor was given an at-large spot from the Big 12, mainly due to Big 12 ties in the selection committee.
