2015 MLB No. 1 Pick Dansby Swanson Celebrates with Vanderbilt Teammates

The Arizona Diamondbacks took Vanderbilt shortstop Dansby Swanson with the No. 1 overall pick in the 2015 MLB draft on Monday. When the Commodores found out, it was a great moment down on the field.
Being the top pick in the draft was probably something Swanson had always dreamed about. When it actually happened, there was plenty of love and support for the 21-year-old ballplayer.
It was a pretty eventful day not only for Swanson but for his Commodores teammates as well. Vanderbilt punched their ticket to the 2015 College World Series on Monday with a 4-2 victory over Illinois in the Super Regionals.
