2011 College World Series: 10 Reasons Virginia Can Win the Title

The University of Virginia baseball team is the No. 1 national seed heading into the College World Series after a stellar 54-10 season.

After making it to their first ever College World Series in 2009, the Hoos will be heading into Omaha with one thing on their minds, a national championship.

While there are limitless reasons to think that the Cavaliers can bring home the title, here are 10 of them.

1. Dominant Rotation: Throughout this season, the Cavaliers rotation of Danny Hultzen, Tyler Wilson and Will Roberts has been nothing but spectacular. This has remained the case in the tournament thus far as these three young arms have propelled the Hoos into Omaha for the second time in history.

2. Relentless Offense: The Virginia offense has been solid all year but, in the postseason the bats have caught fire around Charlottesville. If the Cavaliers can bring that hot hitting with them to Omaha, opposing pitchers are in for some long outings.
