The road to Omaha, Nebraska, isn't an easy one. After a grueling regular season, double-elimination regional play and best-of-three super regional action, eight surviving teams are set to compete in the 2014 College World Series.
Seven new teams are on display this year, as Louisville is the sole returning team from one season ago. Every squad is different—some feature stellar pitching, and others rely on offensive firepower.
That diversity only adds to the impending intensity and drama set to take place over the weekend.
